The www.proteuro.eu website is devoted to the study of the Protohistory of Europe.

It has been created by the research group working with the Sapienza University of Rome, chair of European Protohistory.

The aim of the website is to act as a tool for the promotion, exchange and discussion on the ongoing debate and research.

Protohistory is widely intended as the process leading from the local Late Neolithic societies to the State/Urban formations of the historical Age.
